VISUAL MERCHANDISING
overview:
Role: 3D display design
& production
Designed 3D store displays from concept through completion.
Building 3D displays requires lots of planning and precision. The display parts/panels need to be large enough to limit the number of seams on the finished product, small enough to fit in ground shipping boxes (to avoid high freight shipping costs), and simple enough for store representatives to assemble.
You also need to ensure you are using the correct materials, inks, and adhesives that will withstand time, possible temperature, or humidity changes in the environment in which they are displayed.
The production process included layouts of print files, set up of router or diecut dielines, and development of assembly instruction sheets to go with each project.
Some of the clients included:
Michael Kors, J. Crew, Ann Taylor, Madewell, Estee Lauder.
